Calling all nanosafety tools developers! NanoCommons is offering funded support for integration of tools (predictive models, PBPK modelling applications, computational pipelines, databases, decision trees, etc.) with the NanoCommons e-infrastructure, to support interoperability and long-term sustainability of the nanosafety community outputs via a toolbox of community accepted standards.
NanoCommons funded access provides expert support and dedicated time to develop solutions tailored to your needs aligned to the overarching aim of increasing the accessibility, interoperability and sustainability of nanosafety informatics tools and services.
Whether you need support to develop an application programming interface (API) to allow your tool to communicate with other tools or databases, help to develop a graphical user interface (GUI) for your model or tool, help with containerisation of your tool to facilitate its ongoing accessibility and maintenance, or would like support to develop NanoCommons KNIME-nodes or Jaqpot / Enalos web applications for your tool and guidance on how to integrate them into computational workflows, this is your opportunity.
Example of tool integration into a nanoinformatics pipeline: NanoCommons Risk Assessment Tool, implemented within the KNIME platform or via a user friendly graphical interface, available at: http://enaloscloud.novamechanics.com/nanocommons/exposure/.
Not sure what you need or what the various options mean for your tool? Contact our helpdesk (helpdesk@nanocommons.eu) initially to arrange a discussion with us to help you tailor your requirements. If you have a good idea of what you would like to achieve, please anyway contact us via the helpdesk (helpdesk@nanocommons.eu) and a member of our team will contact you to discuss the details of your project and help you with the application (contact with a NanoCommons partner is a prerequisite for application).
Apply for support to increase visibility, accessibility and interoperability of your nanosafety tools or models now: https://www.nanocommons.eu/apply-for-access/
